How quickly can care start?
Often within a few days of your assessment, and sooner when it’s urgent, for example after a hospital discharge. Tell us your timescale on the form and we’ll do our best to meet it.
How much does home care cost?
It depends on how many hours of support you need and when. After your free assessment we give you a clear written quote with no hidden fees. Some people are eligible for help with costs from their local council or the NHS, and we can point you in the right direction.
Will we have the same carer each time?
We work hard to keep carers consistent, so you see familiar faces who know your routine. We introduce new carers before they start.
Are your carers checked and trained?
Yes. Every carer has an enhanced DBS check, references and right-to-work checks, and completes training before their first visit, with ongoing supervision and refresher training.
Are you regulated?
Yes. Loch Healthcare Services Ltd is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator of health and social care in England. You can view our CQC profile here.
Is there a minimum contract?
No long-term contracts. You can increase, reduce or pause your care with reasonable notice.
